Did you know that the average age of a person experiencing homelessness is just nine years old? On any given night in Chicago, more than 26,000 children, women, and men face homelessness without a safe or stable place to rest. These realities highlight the urgent need for compassionate, community-driven solutions that address not only immediate shelter and food needs but also the long-term challenges that lead to housing instability.

At Journey Within Sober Living, we don’t just watch the statistics; we change them. Since 2005, we have been on the ground, delivering immediate relief and long-term transformation for women transitioning from incarceration and addiction.
-
Immediate Outreach: We provide food, clothing, hygiene goodie bags, and spiritual support directly to those living on the streets of Chicago.
-
Lasting Re-entry: We move beyond feeding to provide housing, sobriety coaching, credit counseling, and career coaching to help women rebuild their lives.
